VISUAL DEVELOPMENT
is the key to any animation production.
The energy I invest at the start of every project in creating high-quality imagery defines its own artistic aesthetic.
Even if a project never sees the light of day, the work invested in the development stage becomes an instrumental inspiration for future projects.
Here is a selection of said work.

Thus, Iris is sent back in time with the hope of returning with a greater understanding of herself. But with her frail physical and mental condition, returning to the past could pose a significant risk to her present.

BUBBLE HEAD
Social disapproval, discrimination, and the rejection of the unknown are satirically explored through the story of a shy and innocent octopus stuck in a hard hat diver's head, –who by chance ends up stranded in a big city.
After ridicule and hardship, our main character will finally come face to face with another of his kind and, at the same time, find love.
'Bubble Head' explores the question: What would a sea monster do in our world?

SER
A visual interpretation of the sound "ser" (zer, cer), considering that the sound is pronounced the same way throughout most of Latin America, regardless of the spelling. A collective reflection between graduate students from UNAM and students from Tec de Monterrey, on the poetic relationship between sound, dance, and drawing.
